American Timber Salvage grew from the effort to salvage historic building wood materials for re-use. Some of our more significant projects have included the Farmer’s Service Grain Elevators Mill in Waterloo, Illinois. The company was formed during this 1 ½ year project. Species of old growth for salvage in the St. Louis area include northern white and southern long leaf yellow pine. We try to concentrate our efforts on the oldest and rarest of these.

Our current project is the Cupples 7 Warehouse building in St. Louis, producing approximately 1,600 timbers or 300,000 board feet of dense heart-of-heart pine.
